RIVERS STATE GOVT BEGINS REVALIDATION EXERCISE OF YOUTH BODIES

The Rivers State Ministry of Youth Development has announced the commencement of verification and revalidation exercise of youth bodies in the state, beginning from Tuesday August 4, 2020.

The Commissioner for Youth Development in the State, Prince Obi Ohia, made the announcement on Monday in a press statement he personally signed.

The Commissioner requested the various youth bodies in the State to visit the 7th Floor, Block C of the State Secretariat for the exercise.

He disclosed that the verification exercise is to enable the State Government create a databank that would help the Ministry to plan for youth development activities.

The Youth Development Commissioner warned that any youth body, which fails to appear for the revalidation exercise would not be recognized by the State Government henceforth.
