Banditry: Youth Leader Vows To Support Greenfield University Students To Shut Down Aso Rock

More persons have indicated readiness to join in the planned protest to shut down Aso Rock, if the kidnapped Students of Greenfield University are killed by their abductors.

Recall that the National Coordinator of the Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, (CAGG), Barrister Olusegun Bamgbose had earlier vowed to shutdown Aso Rock in protest, if the Abducted students of Greenfield University did not return to their parents alive;

His threat followed the threat by the kidnappers to kill the students if N100m and some motor-cycles are not given to them on or before Tuesday next week.

Declaring support for the protest, a Youth Leader and the Publisher of TrackNews Online, Mr. OGIDI BEN BARA, in a statement on Wednesday noted that the youths in the country will not hesitate to join the protest in solidarity.

“We will join Greenfield University students’ to Shut Down Aso Rock If Bandits Kill the kidnapped Students”.

This comes following the recent decision by the Kaduna State Governor, not to pay any other money aside the #55 million the government earlier paid as ransom to the bandits.

Recall that the CACG coordinator, had earlier warned President Muhammadu Buhari that Nigerians won’t tolerate any form of excuse from him if the abducted students are killed.

“Let me, however, personally inform Buhari that Nigerians will never entertain any form of excuses. It’s either the students are rescued or we shall not hesitate to shut down Aso Rock if any of those students are killed”, he said.

This has however been seconded by Mr Ben Ogidi, a youth leader. Mr Ben stated that the youths are prepared to join forces with Greenfield University students if the abducted students are killed.
