ROWDY SESSION AS PDP REPS MEMBERS STAGE WALK OUT DURING PLENARY OVER TWITTER BAN

The House of Representatives on Tuesday witnessed a rowdy session, after the Speaker, FEMI GBAJABIAMILA ruled the PDP caucus leader, Kingsley Chinda, out of order.

The Speaker’s action came just as Hon. KINGSLEY CHINDA prayed the House to suspend Twitter ban imposed by the federal government for now.

The opposition to the motion led the lawmakers and some members of the PDP to walkout from plenary.

Briefing Journalists at the press centre, Hon. KINGSLEY CHINDA, who spoke on behalf of the other lawmakers, said the House would move a formal motion tomorrow, Wednesday to that effect.

CHINDA added that the motion may likely be rejected by the House but that the lawmakers would still go go ahead and move the motion.
