EMOHUA COUNCIL CHAIRMAN, CHIDI LLOYD BEGINS FLAG OFF OF SERIES OF PROJECTS
The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr CHIDI LLOYD is set to flag off five different projects in the area, beginning from Friday August 13 to Wednesday August 25, 2021.
Accordingly, some prominent personalities from the LGA have been selected as Special Guests to perform the groundbreaking of each of the projects, which is expected to last for two weeks.
A statement from the press unit of the Council, noted that the move is in fulfillment of the promise made by the council chairman to execute some people oriented projects.
The statement further disclosed that Hon. SAM OGEH, representing Emohua Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly will perform the flag off of the Secretariat Building of Emohua Local Government Area Vigilante Services (EMOVIS) tomorrow, Friday August 13, 2021 by 11am while Prof CHITURU ORLUWENE will Flag-off Emohua Local Government Sickbay on Tuesday August 17 by 11am.
Thursday, August 19, will be the turn of Chief PAUL WONODI to flag-off Eveku Road by
11:00am also
According to the statement, Ukeli Road in Rundele will be flagged off on Monday, August 23 at 11am by Chief EMEKA WOKE, Chief of Staff, Government House.

The statement quotes the Emohua Local Government Chairman, Dr CHIDI LLOYD, as saying that the council would conduct brief Flag-off ceremonies for each of the projects while not undermining a full compliance with the approved Covid-19 protocols.
Dr LLOYD enjoined stakeholders in the affected communities to turn out enmasse to receive the leaders of the Local Government Area as they visit to flag off the various projects.
