YAMAABANA URGES OGONIS, RIVERS PEOPLE TO DISREGARD PIEGBE
…says he’s an impostor, attention seeker, urges Ogonis to vote SIM Fubara and PDP Candidates
The President-General of Ogoni Youth Federation (OYF) Comrade LEGBORSI YAMAABANA has issued a statement disclaiming one PIEGBE EMMANUEL UEBARI.
Comrade LEGBORSI YAMAABANA, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Ogoni land also distanced himself, MARVIN YOBANA and JOSEPH YOBE from the claims of PIEGBE EMMANUEL UEBARI
The Ogoni Youth Leader while declaring support for the governorship candidate of the PDP in Rivers State, SIMINAILAYI FUBARA, urged the people of Ogoni to vote all candidates of the PDP of the Consolidation Team.
The details below….
My attention has been drawn to a diatribe concocted by one Piegbe Emmanuel Uebari, a blackmailer, impostor and swindler, who with his mental disorder has provided himself as an instrument of destruction for some politicians of the opposition parties in Ogoni, with the conviction that he could be used to sow a seed of discord between prominent members of the Peoples Democratic Party and prominent sons of Ogoni in the likes of myself, Chief (Comr.) Legborsi Yamaabana, Amb. Marvin Yobana and the erstwhile professional footballer, Joseph Yobo.
In his sponsored statement aimed at misleading the public, he stated that we deceived him to resign from the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Council and thereafter refused to pick up his calls.
To put the record straight and correct the erroneous impression, we have no business or dealings with him but as an Ogoniman, who was in need and acosted me for assistance and political relevance, I wanted to assist him, so I introduced him to Marvin Yobana and Joseph Yobo, only for us to discover that he is dubious, hence we stopped all communications with him.
The irony of his songs of sorrow is that those names he mentioned that him and his group would vote in the general elections are already losers, because it is clear who the winner of the next presidential election would be in Rivers State and in the Governorship election on the 11 of March, it is clear even to the blind that Sir Siminialaye Fubara and all the PDP state assembly candidates will win.
As a matter of fact, I have given him 3 days to retract the statement and tender apology to me, Amb. Marvin Yobana and Joseph Yobo, respectively. Failure to do this, I will institute a legal action against him.
Finally, may I renew my call on Ogonis and the entire Rivers people to vote for Sir Siminialaye Fubara and all PDP candidates and also vote the chosen presidential candidate of Rivers People on Saturday 25th February 2023.
