COMMITTEE ON PALLIATIVES SHARE RICE TO LGAS

The Rivers State Committee on the Distribution of Subsidy Palliatives yesterday commenced distribution of rice to some local government areas in the State.

The distribution exercise was supervised by the Chairman of the Committee, DESMOND AKAWOR and other members of the committee.

The committee said the bags of rice was shared among the local government areas based on the number of political wards in each of the LGAs.

The distribution other saw Abua/Odual receiving six hundred and fifty bags, Bonny six hundred bags, Degema eight hundred bags and Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni received eight hundred and fifty bags.

The distribution continues today, Wednesday September 6, 2023 with Andoni, Opobo/Nkoro, Tai and Gokana LGAs.
