RIVERS POLICE COMMAND BEGINS ZERO CRIME INITIATIVE
The Rivers State Police Command on Monday, October second commenced its Zero Crime Initiative with a road work in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
During the exercise, the Command called for the cooperation of the people of the State to join hands in combating crime and criminality.
Speaking at ISAAC BORO PARK, shortly after the road show to kick start the initiative, Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, EMEKA POLICAP NWOYI urged Rivers people to assist the Police to fight and reduce crime to its barest minimum in Rivers State.
CP EMEKA POLICAP NWOYI maintained that the initiative is geared towards making the state a crime free state.
The commissioner of Police, EMEKA POLICAP NWOYIN however urged the youths, corporate bodies, agencies and the entire people of the state to participate in all the activities lined up for the Rivers Zero Crime Initiative.
